Registration
Registration is now CLOSED however you are welcome to register on site and participate in the final 5k which will be Sunday, March 17, 2013. The cost to register for the 5k is $25. Checks can be made out to Arkansas Run for the Fallen. This event is to raise awareness for the fallen soldiers of Arkansas and their families. All proceeds above the event expenses will be donated to and split evenly between the Arkansas Chapter of the American Gold Star Mothers (a Gold Star Mother is a mother that has lost a son or daughter while in defense of our country) and to the maintenance fund for the permanent Arkansas Fallen Hero Memorial to be built at the Jacksonville Museum of Military History. To register on site, please park at the Capitol and check in between 1:30 and 2:00 P.M. (no later than 2:00 P.M.) Check in will be near the steps of the Arkansas State Capitol. You will then be transported to the beginning of the 5k which will start at 2:30 P.M. In registering for the final 5K of the Arkansas Run for the Fallen you will be expected to maintain a 9:30 mile to keep pace with the Run Team. Please note event tshirts may or may not be available if you registered after March 8, 2013.
